Basically, I’m tired of wasting so much time trying to take decent photographs of items to sell them, that I thought I would take some really really crap pictures of them all piled together and offer them at a price less than I would on DoA.

This blog is going to be on indefinite hiatus (am hoping not more than a month). I’m going through a lot of personal troubles right now and dolls, photographing them, and whatnot are the last interest on my list.
I’m very sorry about this, for anyone who might be disappointed? I hope to be back soon, thank you!
Made the headpiece, did not make the neckpiece.
Probably will have finished commission photos I’ve been lagging on tomorrow or Sunday (for DoA users Miss Sencho and hello_sunshine, if either of them float around this blog), depending how I feel/if I see the girls tomorrow/if I have to go to stupid baseball game I said I’d go to with this guy from school.
Am sorely unhappy with my photos lately. I think it might be a result of my clutter/current lifestyle affecting my head. Perhaps Sunday I will clean after I get home from my belated birthday dinner with the family.
I wish I had more to say, but all I can say is I feel like crap.
So… Terin is leaving for a while as I damaged him annnd, well, his makeup artist is so swamped I decided to try someone else for now. Hopefully this goes well, as person is ridiculously expensive :\
Kijin is in a box waiting to leave sometime in late June/July for a while - hopefully to return more of how I’ve been wanting him since I got him.
Chi is getting her makeup touched up by her original makeup artist come this summer since I suck and damaged it. So she will also be MIA like the other two for a bit.
Asmaria is staying as is. I wish her blushing would show up more in photos, but I’m sure that’s just me failing and sucking at pictures.
Teru is staying as is. He’s wonderful ♥
White Kun/F-22 is staying. Just waiting to get a body + eyes. Or at least eyes and I will have wear turtlenecks for forever until I can get a white body XD Still now really sure who she/he is, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out once I got them together.
Aestus iiiiiss…. I don’t know. For a while, I’ve been wanting to change him out. The arrival of the white kun kinda made me realize I don’t thik it’s a matter of faceup (because his current faceup is lovely and I love it very much) so much as I think it’s time for him to become a different mold.
When I bought the doll back in 200…5? O_o; … I was trying to represent a very different side of Aestus: cute, spunky, innocent, naive.
In the 3 years I’ve had the doll - and in the 3 years since having the doll I’ve written for him and what not, he’s matured to a point I don’t think the kun head suits him anymore. He is still playful, but there are qualities that outweigh that and I value more in a doll: elegant, beautiful, motherly (for Chi and even to some extent Asmaria and Terin), patient, kind.
Basically, I think it’s time Aestus moved on to a more mature headsculpt.
Easily said, right? Not so easily done. I really have absolutely no idea what headmold I’d rather make him. I have played with the thought of making him a Tae/Anais since I want one anyway, but no customs I’ve ever seen have made me feel this would work. It’s a very very frustrating situation for me.
I truly am envious of people who have a doll “perfect” for their character - whether they won it as a custom off Y!J, or ebay, or just got the perfect faceup for it. Or even are just happy with whatever.
Aestus is… just the doll out of all of them that needs to be perfect. And while I do love his kun head, I don’t feel it works. I don’t know if I’ve ever at any point - other in small glitches felt it was perfect - but have struggled with the idea of changing it because I don’t know WHAT to change it to.
My current options are really only to watch as customs pop up of different molds and watch the new releases, hoping somewhere one of them will work for him. As such, for now he will be staying, as I don’t think I can really cope with the fact of not having Aestus around in any form for some extended period of time, but….yeah.
So I’ve been working on commissions and… yeah, sometimes I get frustrated just making the same rose jewelry.
One of the commissions I’m currently working on wanted greens and whites - I think because they want me to match a headpiece they bought from another seller? (Just a guess from another jewelry makers past sales, haven’t asked them, woo). Right so I got frustrated because it wasn’t coming out the way I wanted and just started to play with my silver wire.
Unfortunately, results weren’t that great, either. I’m so unhappy with it =____=; But, maybe if I keep practicing I”l make something I like eventually. Either way, I wanted to try the wire-working. I’m not sure what to do with this prototype now though >__< Taking it apart is a waste, but selling it.... who would buy it?! UGH.
I don't think I'll be taking commissions again once I get through my list. I'm so unhappy with them, and even when people say "do whatever you want" they still only want the same thing so I can't really be creative ;__; Alas, needing money > artistic freedom. Also, how frustrating is it when people don’t answer your messages about their commissions? Blegh. Still, I really need to work faster. I hope to finish the current two chokers by this week. I’ve been so lucky to have patience people for commissions so far, but I’m afraid someone on that list will kill me when I don’t work fast enough. Ah ha D:
Also, I apologize if I sound like I’m 5 in this entry, I’m really spacing out. Haha.

I can’t pay you a bazillion dollars, but if you like webdesign and are good at it, maybe we could come to some sort of agreement to get you some money and get me a layout? XD

I’m just too busy to do it myself and I hate my layout abilities anyway and this one I currently have’s - while I do like it - time is up (Aestus doesn’t even look like that anymore, hur hur XD; ).
